IT Security Consultant (Europe region)

Interested in working as a IT Security Consultant for one of the leading companies offering Security Services for PCI in Europe, the Middle East and Africa?

We are currently looking for an individual with advanced experience in IT Security to join our team of professionals to deliver consulting services to customers across the European countries.

As IT Security Consultant you own excellent communication, analytical and interpersonal skills as an essential prerequisite for this position. With your understanding of the IT Security best practices and standards you are able to provide our customers with specific recommendation for technical and business related issues to align with the required standards, especially PCI DSS and the ISO27001 series. You are able to perform project tasks by working independently, create recommendations for remediation, and be able to elaborate detailed and professional documentation.

We expect substantial experience in design of information security infrastructures and processes. Experience in working in a multi-disciplinary team of technical and business oriented consultants is an advantage.

Your profile

• 3 years of experience in information technology, preferably 3 years of experience in information security
• Advanced technical knowledge in the following areas: network security, UNIX/Linux security, Microsoft Windows, firewall infrastructures, secure remote access, virus protection, transmission security
• Experiences in performing vulnerability and risk assessments
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and preferably another language
• Knowledge of security standards such as PCI DSS and the ISO 27000 series
• CISSP, CISA, or CISM certification is an advantage
• Ability to work independently and willingness to travel
• Place of work will be Stuttgart/Germany or home office
